We’re happy to announce much awaited Nougat 7.1 (CyanogenMod 14) ROM for Galaxy Note 3.
The latest Nougat 7.1 update has come for Galaxy Note 3 via CyanogenMod 14 ROM since Google released Android Nougat source code. Thanks to CyanogenMod developers team, Galaxy Note 3 users can enjoy the new generation Android OS, which officially so far not available and never will be on this device.
Just so you know, first Android Nougat 7 update will roll out on upcoming December and only for the latest Google Nexus devices.

Warning: This tutorial is only for Galaxy Note 3 N9005 model.
Update process will erase device internal storage, so it’s strongly recommended to backup your data to device SD memory card or PC before starting this tutorial.

Prerequisites:

• The device should have at least 60% charge left on the battery.
• If you have Samsung Kies program in PC, Kies should be completely turned off to not disturb all the process.
• USB drivers must be installed on PC (if Kies are in PC then drivers are already installed).
• CWM or TWRP recovery must be installed. Don’t have it? Then follow this tutorial.
• USB Debugging must be enabled on the device. To enable it go to Settings/About phone and keep taping on Build number until you see Developer mode has been turned on. After that go to Settings/Developer Options then check USB Debugging.

Tutorial:

  1. Download CyanogenMod 14 custom ROM zip file to PC or straight to mobile device.
  2. Download Google Apps package to PC or straight to mobile device.
  3. Place both files into device microSD card storage.
  4. Now boot Galaxy Note 3 into recovery: Turn off the device, then press and hold Volume Up + Power + Home button until recovery menu show up.
  5. Make a current software backup, so you will have a recovery file in case if something goes wrong. Tap on Backup and select all the partitions including System, Data, Boot and Cache. Then swipe to make a backup. TWRP backup
  6. After backup is done, go back to main menu and select Wipe, then choose Advanced Wipe and check System, Data, Cache and Dalvik Cache partitions. TWRP wipe
  7. Swipe and wait for the wiping process to complete.
  8. Next, go back to main menu and choose Install, then locate CyanogenMod 14 custom ROM zip file.
  9. Tap on it and swipe to begin custom ROM installation process. TWRP install
  10. After installation is done, go back to main menu, choose Install and locate the Google Apps.zip file. Swipe to install it.
  11. After process is complete, go back to main menu and tap on Wipe, then choose Advanced Wipe.
  12. Check Cache and Dalvik Cache partitions, then swipe to confirm. After wiping is done, go back to main menu ant tap on Reboot to reboot Galaxy Note 3.
  13. First startup can take up to 15 minutes, so be patient.

Congratulations on successfully updating Galaxy Note 3 N9005 to Nougat 7.1 custom ROM!

I have given a complete face lift to my old Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 through this site (4smartphones.com). Except the hardware specs, my five years old phone stands shoulder to shoulder for any operations with Galaxy Note 8, WOW!!!!!…

One need to follow the detail instruction given in the tutorial and you have it.
